RAISING A NEW GENERATION OF TRANSFORMATION LEADERS: A CATALYST FOR SOCIAL CHANGE.
A deep insight and constructive topic that is!

First and foremost, in every society, it’s a necessity to develop a new generation of transformation leaders that would better ochestrate the quick development of the society, or better transform the needs for a better society/organization. Without further ado, it’s highly required to explicitly define some keywords that would make the digestion of the discourse more easier, and ease free.

Who are transformational leaders? These are leaders that are visionary, and functional in delivering their purpose/services effectively and efficiently, thereby turning a bad society into a good one, and a good one into a better society, and on, and on. John D. Rockefeller states that "good leadership consists of showing average people how to do the work of superior people". And, no leader or to fewer exhibit that trait. It's imperative to know that on my own side, I do not believe in transformative, but rather a constructive one. It is of no news anymore.

Also, as taught in Chemistry; Catalyst is a substance that alters the rate of chemical reaction, it either speed up, or lower the rate. Relating this context to the above underlined topic would give a better idea about what the keyword means in that relation. By moving on, and according to Karl Marx; "Social Change is the alteration of mechanisms within the social structure, characterized by changes in cultural symbols, rules of behaviour, social organizations, or value systems".

The need for transformation leaders is apparently not on sight. The total and non-existing democratic government has birthed magnanimity, I refuse to say otherwise. The damage, and consequences borne out of this has laid an underlying footprint for the younger ones to see political offices as a bid to embezzle the public fund. Hence, I say I don't believe in youth capacity, but humanity nature. Youth has the ultimate power to misusing.

Yes, the zeal for political offices should be set on an immeasurable mood; the sacrifice, underlying love for your Locality, State, Nation, and beyond. But, it's been seen as an avenue for maneuvering the public funds into personal own. Hence, this has really blinded our eyes to the bitter truth; leaders should be an exemplary body, not the system they are showing the younger ones. To me, having a transformation leaders is a very hard one like Engineering Mathematics; Fowrier, and Laplace. The chances are very low.

The system of leadership has been misread by majority; it's been termed as an opportunity level post. The emergence of transformational bodies would bridge the gap, and enhance the social, and cultural system entirely. The course of doing this will extend to a larger audience, and affect either positively or negatively. Bad leadership setting that's been in practice has eaten the growth of the society so deep, that even the unborn ones could feel it. It would be very hard to raise a generation that we never had!

Have we ever had a generation of transformation leaders? I don't think. We've always had a set of Bossy leaders. This has proliferated a sickening, and frustrating leadership settings, of which generating a new leaders would be incapacitated. The vision isn't clear,. It's evasive as mystery. Only God can help.

Okay, to make this more easier, and convenient. What are the characteristics of transformational leadership? They are;
•Embracing change.
• Emotional intelligence.
• Adaptability.
• Inspirational Team Player.

Well, the clamoring for good leadership is highly essential, as it is bedrock for development in every organization, and society. If you'd agree with me, I will highlight some basic factors that could bring about the organisational and societal growth in leadership sector; A CATALYST FOR SOCIAL CHANGE.

• Personal Change: This is a core and vital factor regarding social, and cultural changes. The perspective, and belief you held greatly influence the growth. Having transformation leaders will breach your personal affairs - belief, opinion, and views. There has to be an intentional, and decisive actions to be taken to cause the change, positively.

• Technological Innovation: It's been said, and it's well known that the success of a society lies solely on their technological advancement. In the case of raising new generation of potential leaders, it's highly recommended. The technological improvement will sharpen the organizational goals, hence yielding a positive outcome, within and outside the organization/society. And this will greatly improve social interactions as well.

• Societal Progress: The progress of a society will dictate in the raising of new generations. The impacts and progress the society's making will be a yardstick to define the leadership settings that'd influence the social changes, cultural symbols and rule of behavior in the organization/society, positively. Thus, creating a generation of transformation leaders.

• Education: Education fuels innovations by providing the basic skills and knowledge. Education is a major catalytic substance that could turn the hands of clock for a better one. The proficiency of Education can never be overemphasized as it cuts across all fundamental aspects. It will provide the necessary tools and deep insight towards achieving a better organization; Civic Education, Government, Economics amongst others, hence producing individuals that are keen on transformation.

• Government Policies: I strongly believe the government policies has positioned the regulations of every organization/society on a standby mode. Yes, this is a requirement for every organization setting for the max. The government policies should be more proactive in its dealings, and making decisions based solely on merit, accountability, and reputation. As an individual that's appointed as a leader on merit mode, and has a reputation to protect will seamlessly ensure the smooth flow of the organization, thus, enhancing more productivity, and emergence of transformative bodies.

• Traditional Council: The Kings, and the Elders have a keen role to play in this course. Their major responsibility is the overseeing of the affairs of the Society and appointment of leaders for every sector such as; Olórí òdó, Olórí Omo Ogun, etc. Appointing a trustworthy, decisive, bold, and dedicated individuals will definitely cause a change in the social lifestyle, bringing about new generation of leaders as well...as opposed to now that appointment is done based on relation, or financial power.

The aforementioned points if duly observed should give rise to the emergence of new generation of transformation leaders that will purposely serve as a catalyst for social change. The emergency and realization of transformation leaders will bring about development, peace, and unity in our status quo....of which I greatly believe transformation leaders realization rate is highly low...rather constructive leaders. Well, I also strongly hope the agenda come to reality.
