THE ONE OF THE MANY UNTOLD STORIES WITH CORPERS;
On today’s episode!
Today’s really a great day, I won’t say otherwise. After the monthly clearance at the LG, we trooped out in four, set for home. After walking some miles - metres. The designated place for taking bike was reached. We had wanted to take some steps at that point, but being a circle of four, the thought of extending the trek for reduction in bike price clouded on us and the walking spirit of these girls gingered us.
The second metres were on, even more lengthy than the first one. One thing that makes the journey more heartfelt, and lively was the undying bond between us four. The energy were charged, and the girls served as a strength to walk.. Walked, walked, and walked, another major bus-stop was seen, but neglected - which we had thought we'd take bike.
The walking was just too straight - it was in three straight ways, and the weather was really favorable while navigating through it. To the third path, I had wanted to give up as a result of the morning trek I've had, but I couldn't give that, because I was surrounded by able ladies, and agile colleague. This instilled the act of "don't give up" in me, and I made sure we scaled through it together.
I’m just surprised by the girls' action throughout the trekking voyage. One’s a big fan of conversation and engage us in different talks, sharing different opinions. The other plugged in her earpiece to her phone, and engrossed herself into the music world - savoring the music while taking those little beautiful steps. These girls na agba! Women mount! Myself and the other guy were beautifully surprised by this uncommon trait amongst females.
The third segment was off. We were in ILISHAN. Diversion in journeys took place, and the adventure ended. It’s at this point the two different parts took bikes to their respective destinations. They are going to ILISHAN, but still had to take bike to their place. While me, and my colleague stretched, and crossed to the other side of the road for bike heading to Iperu.
And the reduction in price was ably adjusted. A transport of #1600 dropped to #600! It's really a happy thing we were able to economize the cost, and input the remaining value into something else. Same thing at the other end. Cost reduction. It's really a pity we had to improvise, and came up with such idea; NA GOVERNMENT CAUSE AM. Corpers dey suffer! Ahhh.
This trekking is one of a kind in life, and I’d say this is the longest trek I’ve ever embarked on in my life - from IKENNE to ILISHAN. Interesting? Right, I know. But, in all situations, we’d always come out victorious. Corpers dey see shege.
I’m not saying this for saying sake. Please, if you see Corpers, squeeze something into their pockets, they are going through alot. And you contribution to their ministry will greatly help the situation. Thank you.
Debbie and Sarah, thank you for taking us through this beautiful ride. Person suppose dey trek once in a blue moon. It's worth it, and I pray it all worth it at the end. Tolu, na God say make you stay for IKENNE, you for trek ehn. Eseun oo. Corper weee, waaa!
