THE TRANSCENDING POWER OF TIME,
Sighs!!! Time is essence, as it’s crucial for every life activities. Time is precious, and must be used judiciously. Its importance and uniqueness made it a respected one amongst its peers. Time is all! It’s a yardstick for every opportunities life present, and a reminder to know and believe that everything is ephemeral.
In my own book of time; “time is a criteria used to measure the tenacity of an individual/something" — it’s in such a simple term in my own world. Time’s presented itself as the utmost priority in life, after good health. The unending ability of time to making you see purpose in everything can never be overemphasized — it’s inscribed its name boldly on the platter.
Isn’t it funny how we always rush out of our busy schedules just to meet up with the stipulated time for a particular purpose? It’s everyday people say “Oh, I’m running late, I need to start going” — that’s a statement you’d always hear everyday. Time’s shaped our mind to better reflect its significance. It’s put us in a very tight scenario, where none of us can ever meet up with its plans. Never!
Every organizations has their working hours (time). Every houses has the time they close the gate. Time’s really caged us whereby we have no other choices than to live within its scope, voluntarily or involuntarily. This should better define the power of time. Time is everywhere! To you, isn’t it funny how you normally check your phone, wall clock, and wristwatch (if you are a fan of wristwatch) to see what the time says? …while you attract yourself into self pity.
The same TIME has made a very large percentage of people act wrongly in the course of making it big. It’s put people on the run with the notion “Omo, time is going, make I sharpely run one or two, me sef wan ball". It’s destroyed alot of lives, and vice versa. In the marriage arena, it’s now a National Anthem from the Parents to the kids to get things done, even when they are barely 25, and doesn’t even have the required factors to run a family. Why? It’s TIME! Time’s really reshaped us.
There’s a concept I held about TIME — “ Time can never be recovered but it can be maximized". Yes, its “no relenting power" will never give room for that, but the zeal to make every moment counts would surely get you the time back, in another dimension. It’s this same time (season) that’s affecting our economy sector proudly sponsored by the leaders — “the more we go/explore, the higher it becomes", that’s just a natural law about it.
Why do you think we offered our SOLAT during some certain period of time? It’s TIME. The church weekly program is based strictly on time. The Sango deities has a particular time for their own consultation. Everything in life is based off TIME. In Chemistry, we call Water “A Universal Solvent" — I’d lend that term and tag TIME as a “UNIVERSAL TOOL".
Our time here is a very little one, it’s just a fleet of memories. 100+years is a period of time. I’m sure you understand better. Do not let the worries of the past time disengage you from making do with the time left. TIME will make you question yourself, do not give room for that. Its power is too enormous!
Time is very quintessential! A very great commodity bestowed upon us by the Almighty, to capture our hearts, and channel our thoughts towards the major life’s affairs.
